Ten years ago a camera took my life somewhere I hadn't planned on going. It started as curiosity and turned into the way I get close to people — myself first, then everybody I photograph.

I believe in honest, wildly elegant, ethereal storytelling. The kind that doesn't age, doesn't perform, and doesn't ask you to be anything other than exactly who you are.

The best frames are never the planned ones. They're the glance across the room, the dress going sideways in the wind, the laugh nobody saw coming. Beauty shows up where nobody arranged it — and my whole job is being ready when it does.

I'm a man shaped by the sea. Born and raised in Baja Sur, salt and desert light, mostly barefoot. This place taught me to wait — and most of this job is waiting well.

And when the moment asks for it — when you need to be loud, ridiculous, completely yourselves — I'll push you there too. I follow more than I direct. Right up until I don't.
